Judging Methodology
The vehicles in the category are highly efficient in terms of design and features. The height of selection procedure was broad enough that accommodated all the vehicles nominated by the automobile OEM’s as eligible to be a part of the selection criteria. The Jury panel finalisation procedure was fair enough and none of the members were under any influence of the brands. The set parameters were clear enough and assisted the panel members to score the vehicles accordingly, finally we got our winners. The winners were announced at Droom Pre-Owned Auto Awards 2, the grand event at ITC Maurya on 20th Dec 2019.
About Toyota Fortuner
With 2755 cc engine, 174.5 bhp, 15.04 kmpl, and available with manual as well as automatic transmission, the car had built an unquestionable reliability. Even the seating arrangements have been made very comfortable. The front seats are comfortable, with decent support and plenty of space for elbow, head and legs. Backseats are surprisingly good as well, with decent legroom and head space. There is some road and wind noise at speed, but no more than might be found in any of it’s competitors. There’s not much engine noise, either.
So, all in all this could be one of your favourite SUV and no wonder it has been named as the best SUV of the year.
