The Nissan Skyline produced for the film were all R34s model which came in the year 1999. The 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 Fast and Furious were powered by a RB26DETT 2.6-liter, DOHC, 24-valve straight six sitting longitudinally in the engine bay which churned out 280bhp of power. The engine was mated to a 6-speed gearbox that sent power to all four wheels via ATTEDSA system that could electronically vary the torque produced. The car had tight suspension and for the some scenes, the crew disabled the car’s four wheel drive system so that car could misbehave just like any other regular car.
